Dr. Natalie was introduced to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TMC) early in her life. At the age of fourteen, she witnessed first hand the miraculous recover of her father from his terminal illness under the care of a TMC practitioner. This experience sparked and deepened her interest in complementary alternative medical modalities, which ultimate led her to become a Nationally Board Certified Acupuncturist in 2010.
Natalie graduated magna cum laude from the University of Florida where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Journalism and Communications and from the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine, where she received her Bachelor of Health Science and Masters of Oriental Medicine & Acupuncture.
Through her education at the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine, she is proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of physiological disease through comprehensive pulse diagnosis, observational techniques, and herbal therapy.
After obtaining her Master in Oriental Medicine & Acupuncture, Natalie studied the art of NSEV™ with the renown Dr. Daniel J. Atchison-Nevel. NSEV™ is a modern adaptation of the ancient Chinese medicine and acupuncture healing system that addresses a person’s core patterns of functioning, in addition to their presenting symptoms, to alleviate pain, both physical and emotional, and achieve optimum wellness.
Incorporating both Traditional Chinese Medicine modalities and NSEV™ Healing, including sound therapy into her practice, Natalie uniquely creates a method of treating and preventing disease through the integration of the mind, body, and spirit. Natalie believes that a healthy balance among these internal functioning patterns, as well as the overall harmony in the way a person interacts with the world around them is the key to wellness.
Dr. Natalie joins dare2detox to educate and provide her expertise to those who are in search of a more holistic approach to Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
